Good afternoon, everyone.

This is a very short week for students. 

Remembrance Day

Wednesday is Remembrance Day, so schools across the province are cancelled. We will be having a Remembrance Day service at 10:40 on Tuesday, Nov. 10, in the gym.  You’re very welcome to attend, if you are able.  On Tuesday morning, our students and staff will also be engaging in a number of activities connected to our involvement in the UNESCO Associated Schools network.

Thursday, Friday

Each year, RETSD schools are given a number of days for professional development and administration sessions.  We’ve scheduled two professional development days for later this week, when the staff will be in Gimli for a two-day conference.  The focus of the two day inservice is to further develop our involvement as a UNESCO school. What this means, of course, is that school for students is cancelled for both Thursday and Friday, Nov. 12, 13.
